2020 The Force Series on 2021/01/02~01/03 Racing Recap- Gene Hickerson
In First race of 2021 at Southside RC Raceway for the New Year Celebration Round 1, My Soar buggy was Dialed with clay compound VP-Pro Tires Impulse in Pro Nitro Buggy. I qualified 4th overall.
In 40+ Nitro Buggy I also finished 4th but had a slow run because I choose the wrong tires for the conditions. My used VP-Pro Frontiers were almost bald so they were too loose. Slightly broken in are money though so I’m saving those for the main event.
In First race of 2021 at Southside RC Raceway for the New Year Celebration Round 2 , My Soar buggy was Dialed with clay compound VP-Pro Gripz tires in 40+ Nitro Buggy which gave me an easy TQ. In Pro Nitro Buggy I put Impulse tires on the front for more steering and they were even more Dialed! But 1 mistake and long turn marshal only gave me 5th overall.
What a way to kick off 2021!
I was crowned Champion for the 2020 The Force Series in the 40+ Nitro Buggy class finally. And I am happy to announce that I will be staying with all my same sponsors for this new year.
